hi guys

ive just tried to add some more pictures but it doesnt seem to be working this time, these were the funny ones too - ie me in the ugly comp!! i have another day off on sunday so ill try again then!!

so what have we done? well i went on a trip to montreal with my campers, went jet boating absolutely amaxzing experience, went to 3D cinema show was wierd but very good and went to theme park - very stressful but a lot of fun!

also been to philadelphia and back spend 20/29 hours on a bus not much fun but had camp credit card so went spending!!! new set of campers are good fun so far, i have a new counselor working with me but so far so good, tams one of my best friends at camp so its all good.

anyway, ill try again with the photos on sunday, sorry this is short but really need to go now!

pps to set the record straight, gav and i may get married in las vegas, mountain rumour sounds good too but vegas just sounds like a laugh!! camp friends say if we do it theyll come out to it!!!!

ok, so here are a few pics, the cabin on the left is my cabin, when i first saw the inside of it it was a shock but now its like home! the girls i share with are all good fun staff and campers, the new lot of girls are halarious!

the pic of gav and i on the yellow school bus was before the campers arrived, got very excited to go on a yellow school bus but once driving was a bit worried, its very old with no suspension whatsoever, but hay its all part of american life - they even give us packed lunch in brown paper bags when we go on trips!

the other photo is generally where we go in the evenings on an evening off, the boating dock is beautiful come rain or shine, so hopefully these photos give you a bit of an idea of what kind of place we are living in! obviously we have loads more pics of the place but it takes a while to upload!

Hello everyone!!

so another week has gone by and we have had loads of sunshine, except, neither of us have a tan yet!!! just loads of mosquito and horse fly bites ouch! so yesterday had the best meal ever, my italian girls cooked us all caronara which was to die for yum yum yum, beats meatloaf and sloppy joes anyday, they're edible but thats it!

so the other day we had ugliest counselor competition and i tell you i was robbed of victory, i was by far the ugliest! each counselor was dressed and made up by their campers and i had the works done to me i will send pictures ASAP! picture this, orange wig, black monobrow, very spotting with foundation as puss leaking, hair from hairbrushes giving me hairy armpits and chest, very bad make-up in general - hideous! no-one recognised me (thank god) and even gav wouldn't come near me, apparantly i made him feel sick! was good fun though!

loads of the campers have found out about me and gav which is not allowed but funny, we are managing to spend quite a lot of time together which is nice, but also getting away with others - im hopefully going to montreal tomorrow with the camp which will be great - got the credit card just in time!

went to burlington vermont on saturday last week, that was good fun, bit disorganised, but did some shopping, chatted up some guys in a fast food restaurant and got loads of free food - nice one! we also got $10 pocket money from the camp so went crazy in a candy store!

ok have to go back to camp, my hour off is over!! oh, one last thing, im in the adiondack mountains upper state new york and im in staying in small town called BRIGHTON - how small is this world!

Hello!!

so the campers have arrived! I have 11 girls in my cabin aged 14-16, 2 spanish, 2 italian, 1 swede, 1 french and 5 americans, bit of a mix but they're all crazy and great fun to be with, they're all pretty well behaved too so i dont even have to work that hard! the first few days when they all arrived were a bit crappy as the rain just kept pouring so they couldnt really do anything, but finally the sun has come out and the management have started sorting schedules out so we roughly know what were doing most of the time! all the staff got together with the management a few nights ago to discuss problems and queries and its getting better now!

gav and i are currently on our day off, we went out last night with some other counselors from camp, i got absolutely wasted, gav held his beer well, we all had a really good time though, so good to be away from the camp! the camp have also arranged for gav and i to have almost if not all the same days off together which is great, so we'll have every sunday off and saturday night! i had a bit of blond moment in the diner this morning, (i was also quite excited to be in a diner too), the waitress asked me how i would like my eggs and i said runny! wasnt expecting that question so when i finally understood i asked for poached, i dont remember being asked that in england! cant take me anywhere!

were not able to put any photos on the website yet, we need to put them onto a CD first and upload them from the CD so will do that when we can!

cant think of anything else to report, we'll email / post another notice up next week on our day off! hope everything back in sunny england is ok, were missing you all lots but having a blast!
