Townsville!! This is a place that is not overly recommended to visit by most people - who have not actually been there! We were going to come anyway but were forced into it because I had to replace everything! And we quite liked it, it gave you more of an australian feeling with very few tourists around! we had 2 days here and went to 3 different shopping malls - even i was sick to death with shopping by the end of it, poor gav was very happy! We had wanted to go to some of the local attractions but just didnt have time - but one thing we did have time for was hair cuts so you'll notice that in the next few pics! I like this pic, it was the first place we went to with xmas decorations, felt very strange but they were pretty!
Our next stop was Airlie Beach and at our hostel there were loads of coconut and mango trees! unfortunately the mangoes werent ripe but gav and dan (our friend) did a find old job of knocking at least 1 coconut out of the tree every morning and then dishing them up for us! god i miss fresh coconut every morning for breakfast that was nice! we've got a video of gav doing a dance with his coconuts its quite funny (not in a rude way) so we'll be showing you that when were home!)

Airlie Beach i have to say is probably one of my favourite party towns, its all about partying and everyone is in good spirits for it! we had many good nights out dancing the night away, loved a place called mama africas but the wine was dirty! apart from that it was great! One guy Rowen attempted to teach me to dance smoothly, yes, well it worked to a certain extent and then i got fed up and went back to my old ways! Its so long ago i cant remember any funny stories off hand!

Next was our Whitsunday Islands cruise, we were really lucky here because we managed to change boats to a much better boat and had an absolutely amazing time! the people on the boat were really cool, the crew were cool and we just had a fab time! The first day a few of us went diving while the others snorkled, gav decided he didnt fancy it so i went ahead, im kinda glad he didnt because it wasnt the prettiest dive and the teaching was aweful, im very glad i had done it before! we went to some other places to snorkle which were amazing, the fish and the coral at some of the places were just eye inspiring! i really hope the underwater photos come out! oh, the pic of me and gav, what do you think of the hair cut? still got the curls but looks a hell of a lot better!!!! ok, gotta go, going to the opera house!! love you lots sara n gav x
