Last stop in australia, bit of a scary moment in our travelling! we met up with emma who we met on our new zealand tour, she was great, she helped us out so much from meeting us at the airport, to helping us change hostel, to showing us around the local area and even taking us to her parents house for dinner! we headed over to freemantle for yummy fish and chips before heading to a really funky bar along cottesloe beach. there was a fancy dress party going on and some of the costumes were great! we headed back to freemantle and had a look around the market and the shops around before heading along the coast further to cottesloe beach where we had a walk along the beach - the water crystal clear reflecting off the sun like
you see in postcards, not in our pics though! cottesloe beach is the one in the picture, really nice beach. we went along to st helens harbour and wondered around there, had a bit of lunch before heading over to emmas house. her family (originally from manchester) were lovely, really friendly and showed us a lovely evening. the food was great too, good home cooked meal!! we really enjoyed the time we spent with emma, she was great for showing us around parts of perth we otherwise wouldn't have been able to get too, thanks very much em, it really was great seeing you!![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5-EsvWfpg2bMvoBwBrsUta1C52m5RYjD3nO-KCejj4U9fDLE0aWyR7FxC4qgzxwUD7ukgSpzCl4RN1WQALEU6Cm-8l8DC8Or2Kv1oVgHj7FlYK2qW6aO9LiAnVyNdySS3zrn4fA/s320/DSCN1542.JPG)
Our last day in australia, after sorting out all the stuff we needed for africa we headed for kings park where you get a fantastic view over the skyline of the city! we somehow took a really long route in getting to the park but it was pretty scenic and we had time so it didnt matter! we just relaxed in the sun for our last afternoon in lovely australia discussing how and when we could return, absolutely love this country, love the lifestyle, love the economy, love everything! bye australia, big thanks to everyone we met and visited whilst in australia, you made our journey even more memorable and enjoyable x
